My artsy blogging pal Cyndi was kind enough to host me at her Beading Arts blog, where I’m talking about my trip to Paris. I share a few photos I took, along with a funny poem that describes a dinner I went to with my hubby. Cyndi has been gathering posts from crafters who are talking about the places they’ve traveled, and how it has inspired their creativity. I was quoted recently in an MSN Money article about gifts not to give someone. The article is geared toward the holidays, but I still think it’s good info for no matter when you give a gift. I offer some tips on what to give and not give friends and family members. Check it out if you get a chance.

I was asked to talk about my writing schedule recently, which I have to say is one of the most common questions I get. I think if you work in the corporate world, you really can’t imagine what it’s like to hop down the hall to your office and get right to work. But that’s what writers do.

I gave a pretty detailed account of my daily writing schedule, which is probably more information than any of you want to know about me! I did an interview today with Girlfriendology on Blog Talk Radio. It was a blast. I noticed afterward that I said “you know” a lot. I think I even write that a lot! Christian at Smart Boy Designs was kind enough to interview me for his blog, and it was such a fun interview. He’s all about inspiration and being positive, and I really enjoyed answering his questions. The kind folks that read his blog had nice things to say, too. Some of the questions he asked were: Who Inspires You? and How Did You Develop a Passion for Writing? Great questions for anyone who wants to write. Just got done taking part in a “twitterview” which is an interview conducted over Twitter. Man, it was so fun. Very difficult to trim those answers down to 140 lousy characters! I honestly have to say, I think I sounded like a dork. Then again, don’t I always?

You have to admit tho, that the idea of a Twitterview is totally awesome. I had never heard of that before. So clever and un-boring. Is “un-boring” a word? I’m making it a word. Let’s make it the word for the day. Try to use it in a sentence, like, “I am going to make an un-boring dinner tonite”

And hopefully…. I will.
