About Beautiful Words

Why have a category called “Beautiful Words“?

There is so much negativity in the world, that I originally started a blog entirely devoted to positive words. As someone that experienced verbal abuse throughout my childhood, I knew that words were powerful. They could change you. Make you look at the world in a whole new way. So I wanted to devote one space entirely to the mission of talking about positive words and actions. When I merged my personal blogs to this space, I wanted a separate category for the subject so you could easily find some inspiration.

In short, “beautiful words” is all about writing, speaking, and thinking in a positive way. Why not use words to lift us up rather than knock us down?
