I needed to whip up a few quick ornaments recently, and this is what I did.
Took some scrapbook sheets…
… glued it on to an old CD…
… stamped it with Distress Ink (don’t you love that stuff?)…
… put a ribbon on the wet side…
… and glued both pieces together. In other words, both sides of a CD had scrapbook paper on them, with the other side glued to the other CD (with the ribbon in the middle). Easy peasy.
When it was dry, I put some scrapbooking materials on the outside, and also signed the backs of the CDs to the people I was sending them to.

OMGosh, how clever are those?! What a great way to use leftover embellishments. I have a bunch of those. You know – you buy the pack for a particular one and figure you’ll find a use for the others some day.
Some day has come! Thanks, Cherie.

That’s exactly right! I had a pack of embellishments for scrapbooking, and well… I haven’t scrapbooked in a while. So I was glad to find another use for them.
