New Freelance Writing Feature Writer at Suite101

Just found out I’ve been promoted to the feature writer for the freelance writing section of Suite101. If you’ll remember, I was the dating feature writer for two and a half years there, but stepped down a few months ago because I was just burned out. I was writing several different dating blogs for people for a few years, had hundreds of articles, and needed to write about something else. I’ll still write one (or two) more dating books, but lately my focus has been on writing.
I started the Working Writers blog a while back and have been focused on every aspect of the writing business. And it is a business! I talk about freelance writing but also about the book publishing world on that blog, so my new role will allow me to expand on that. Here are a few of my latest articles:
- Before You Become a Freelance Writer
- Avoid Freelance Writer Weight Gain
- Find Freelance Jobs Using Facebook and Twitter
- Search Engine Optimization for Bloggers
- Freelance Writer Types of Payment
- How to Work as a Corporate Writer Consultant
I’ll try and keep it interesting, so be sure to come over and visit me there!

This is awesome, Cherie, congrats! Obviously you are more qualified for the position than anyone I know. Keep up the great work!
