Be a Tourist in Your Town

I have to admit, I’m a true blue Milwaukee girl. Born here, raised here, and continue to live in the area. I love the stuff that Milwaukee has going on. While other people may wonder about what Milwaukee folks do when it’s freezing all winter, I can tell you that many of them are just like me. We see the sights of our town, baby!

The last couple weeks has been a perfect example. This past weekend we went to the Domes, which I haven’t seen since I was probably a kid. We took some holiday photos there and then headed over to Saz’s. Now, if you’ve never been to Milwaukee and you like ribs, you definitely need to go there! They have some of the best ribs around. I’ve been to Saz’s many times, but never realized they had a brunch. Turns out it was a great meal and we went home full and happy.

A few weeks ago we went to the Holiday Folk Fair, another very cheesy (in a good way) event that I really love. Incidentally, that’s me putting a string in the community loom project. A week after that we hit a Holiday Craft and Gift show at State Fair.

The point is, Milwaukee rocks as a fun town. If you’re bored in Milwaukee, I hate to tell you this, but you’re a boring person. There is something going on every single minute!
